Art and Bev Sturtz joined Boone County 4-H as youth and have been involved most of their adult years as 4-H supporters and fair volunteers. Art served on the Boone County fair board (the Sunday morning worship service that he initiated still continues) and swine superintendent (4-H families appreciated his advice and friendly personality.) He just recently retired from being the swine herdsmanship judge – so that’s over 50 years of supporting 4-H. Together they raised four daughters who were active in 4-H, served as leaders of their church, and shared their vocal and piano musical talents. Art and Bev have 11 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren
