Ken Muller received his Bachelors in Ag Ed and Masters of Education from Iowa State University. His career started as a 4-H and youth assistant in Linn County where he was until 1966.
In 1967 Ken became the County Director for Cedar County and served in this position until 1992 when he retired. During his time in extension he had a strong interest in the youth programs both in Linn and Cedar County. He was instrumental in the construction of buildings on the Fair grounds for the youth exhibits during the county fair.
Ken has always been a strong supporter of the 4-H program and has had an impact in helping youth have a positive experience during their 4-H years. Ken served on the Cedar County Fair board for 26 years and helped keep a good working relationship between the Fair board and extension. Ken became a honorary 4-H member in Linn County in 1967 and in Cedar County in 1990.
His leadership and dedication to the people of Cedar County has placed Ken in high regard as an energetic and talented person.
