Eleanor Meyerhoff has been involved with Black Hawk County 4-H for the past 33 years. She began as a 4-H leader in 1972 and today works as the 4-H Program Assistant in Black Hawk County. Over the years Eleanor has served on the county 4-H & Youth Committee, chaperoned State 4-H Conference, lock-ins and Intermediate trips, she has helped evaluate record keeping at all levels, presented at numerous workshops and just never seems to say “no’ when it comes to 4-H. Eleanor currently serves as treasurer for the Black Hawk County 4-H & FFA Fairboard, a job she has done for the past 16 years. She has touched the lives of countless youth through her county fair judging. Her caring, thoughtfulness and giving nature make her a positive role model for all youth. Eleanor is always willing to go the extra mile to make 4-H a positive experience for all youth.
