* Member of Fulton Jr. Farmers 4-h Club for 11 years.
* Exhibited registered shorthorn cattle for many years at County & State Fairs with his brothers.
* Member of Muscatine County Extension Council for 4 years.
* Member of Muscatine County Program Development committee for 6 years.
* 4-H leader of Fulton Jr. Farmers 4-H Club for 10 years.
* His family is a member of the Iowa 4-H Foundation.
* Member of the 4-H Beef Committee at the Muscatine County Fair for many years.
* Helped with Iowa Junior Beef Breeders Association Show at the county fair.
* Father of three 4-H graduates who were also on State & Area 4-H Councils.
