Carroll Rohrdanz was a member of a 4-H club in Killduff in 1932 that lasted for several years. In 1947, Carroll Rohrdanz and Dick Vander Werff began a new club – the Killduff Hotshots 4-H Club - with about 12 boys. For the first few years they met at members’ homes and then began to meet at the Richland Grange in Killduff. Carroll was a leader for seven or eight years and built the enrollment to approximately 30 members. The Killduff Hotshots are currently celebrating 58 years of existence and has 24 members and 5 leaders.
Carroll is included in Family Fun Night celebrations and shares reflections, gratitude, encouragement and praise. He is honored as a former 4-H member, former leader, Jasper County Fair Board member, and substantial contributor to the 4-H program.
Thank you, Carroll, for all your contributions to the 4-H program and your continuing inspiration.
