Alice was a 4-H leader for 20 years. She also served 4-H in other volunteer capacities throughout the years. Alice has been a tremendous supporter of 4-H and Extension in various ways. Alice for many years was a major contributor to the Harrison County 4-H Pie and Muffin Auction that helps support 4-H in Harrison County. Mrs. Meyer also served as a volunteer Harrison County Fair Superintendent in the Textiles and Fabrics for 54 years. Alice was in 4-H as a youth and made sure that her daughters were able to experience the many joys of 4-H. She now has a daughter who is a 4-H leader and a granddaughter involved in 4-H.
