Growing up Dennis was a member of the Garnavillo Gophers 4-H Club. He later served as leader of the club for 9 years. Dennis is currently a member of the Clayton County Extension 4H/Youth Committee. He is always willing to help the youth. In the past he has served as an advisor for the County Council and has volunteered as a chaperone for the State Conference. In 1999 he was employed as Clayton County’s 4-H Program Assistant. He held that position for 16 months. During the summer months Dennis enjoys being a county fair judge. Later in the fall you will find him evaluating record books and selecting 4H awards.
Dennis serves on the Clayton County Fair Board and is currently the fair secretary/manager.
