Marge Pederson of Thompson is one of those wonderful volunteers who finds a teachable moment in every activity she is involved in. Marge has been a 4-H Leader; long time Achievement Show Judge, and a County and State Fair Judge. She has organized and conducted a number of workshops for 4-H’ers, particularly in the home furnishings area. She has served on the Winnebago County Fairboard with her primary duties being the Home Economics Building Superintendent.
Marge is an excellent advocate of ISU Extension and uses University research in a variety of her community projects. She has also served on the Extension Family Living Committee.
Winnebago County is pleased to induct Marge Pederson as their representative for the 2003 Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame.
