Linda Jacobsen has been involved for many years in the 4-H youth program. She is a fourteen year leader of the Center Ring Leaders 4-H club with a membership 50 members. She has served six years as a Cedar County Youth Committee member with three years as chairperson. She is a beef superintendent for the county fair and also helps on conference judging day as a volunteer. Linda is in her third year as a Cedar County Youth Council advisor. Linda has been involved with the Market Beef auction committee for seven years and serves as treasurer for the group. She is currently serving on the Cedar County Extension Council as Chairperson. Linda believes in the total youth program and is always available to help whenever needed. She is a great listener to the youth and encourages them to try new experiences through out their 4-H involvement. Cedar County feels Linda is very deserving of this award.
