Mrs. Cadwallader was instrumental in the early 4-H days of Mahaska County from about 1918 through the 1950’s, as was her husband. Mrs. Cadwallader was a leader with the Harrison Zippers, and her son, Eves, was a long time leader for the Harrison Hustlers. Mrs. Cadwallader firmly believed in the benefits of 4-H to the families of club members and was a long time 4-H supporter.
