Hilda is a long time 4-H advocate. She attended club congress and was a county program assistant. Even after retirement, Hilda has continued to be a regular contributor to the 4-H program as a resource person for clubs, as a county 4-H historian, and as both an advocate and judge of the county communications program.
Hilda has also been the driving force behind the annual Delta 4-H/Christian Church Day Camp. If you cut Hilda, she bleeds green. If you want to know something about the Keokuk County 4-H program going all the way back to 4-H founder Cap Miller to the present day, Hilda can tell you.
