Diane Claeys was a member of the Elvira Hi-Ho 4-H club as a youth. She has been a leader of the Iowanna Junior 4-H club for 26 years and is also a member of the Iowa 4-H Foundation.
Diane says that 4-H is a very goal centered learning program and teaches 4-H’ers life skills. Under Diane’s and the other club leaders’ guidance, the Iowanna 4-H club makes sure that parents are involved in the club’s program. According to Diane, “the program wouldn’t work without the parent."
