Ruth Haan has spent countless hours supporting the 4-H Program in Butler County over a multitude of years. She was actively involved with the local club in her area as a leader for 15 years. Her club had a tremendous enrollment and unlimited enthusiasm for 4-H. After her dedicated years as a 4-h leader, Ruth volunteered to serve on our 4-H & Youth Advisory Committee for many years. Ruth also served as the Dog and Pet superintendent at the Butler County Fair for many years.
Butler County can always count on Ruth to volunteer when the need arose. Most recently, Ruth has been spearheading the County Centennial Celebration. She as spent hour upon hour researching Butler County 4-H history and preparing displays and activities for the 2002 Butler County Fair.
When asked who has contributed to Butler County’s 4-H program in a variety of ways, Ruth’s name always comes up! She is fantastic and very valuable to Butler County’s 4-H program.
