Mary Blass is an Advisor of Strategic Accounts – Pork for Cargill, where she works in livestock nutrition sales. She is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Animal Science. A Boone County 4-H alum, she grew up showing beef and swine and participating in food and nutrition projects as a member of the Luther Livewires 4-H Club. Mary and her husband, Craig, stay active in 4-H through their volunteer work at the Boone County 4-H Food Stand and Craig’s role as Beef Superintendent for the Sac County Fair. They live near Story City with their young son, Brian, and enjoy cheering on Iowa State sports, tackling home projects, and growing their family wagyu beef business. She says, “I support 4-H because I believe in the results. Through hands-on learning and deep community involvement, 4-H builds the confidence, character, and skills youth need to thrive.”
