AMES, Iowa— At the State 4-H Conference Banquet on Wednesday, June 26, the 2018-19 Iowa 4-H State Council presented a check for $20,599.99 to the Iowa 4-H Foundation from the 34th Annual 4-H’ers for 4-H campaign. This gift was made possible through the combined contributions of 259 4-H clubs from 63 counties across the state. The 4-H’ers for 4-H Campaign is the largest and longest-running fundraiser campaign conducted by 4-H members for 4-H members. In the past 34 years, Iowa 4-H members have given over $900,000 to provide financial assistance for 4-H’ers to attend camps or conferences, help members from low-income families pay their annual 4-H fee, fund speakers and entertainment at the State 4-H Youth Conference each year.
