Hyett Joins Iowa 4-H Foundation as Administrative Specialist

AMES, Iowa – Kayla Hyett was named as Administrative Specialist of the Iowa 4-H Foundation effective Feb. 18, 2015. Kayla received her Associates in Science degree from Black Hawk Community College-East Campus. Kayla graduated from Iowa State University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business.

Illinois 4-H alumna, Kayla Hyett, to provide marketing and special event support

AMES, Iowa – Kayla Hyett was named as Administrative Specialist of the Iowa 4-H Foundation effective Feb. 18, 2015. Kayla received her Associates in Science degree from Black Hawk Community College-East Campus. Kayla graduated from Iowa State University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business.

At the Iowa 4-H Foundation, Kayla will provide administrative support for the Foundation staff team and serve as first point-of-contact for the organization. She also has primary responsibilities for marketing, social media, and special event support. “We are delighted to add Kayla’s skills and her passion for 4-H to our team,” said Albert Grunenwald, the Executive Director of the Iowa 4-H Foundation. “She brings a positive, can-do attitude that is already helping our organization move forward.”

Kayla was a 4-H member since she was eight years old until she graduated from high school in 2010. She belonged to the Joy-Eliza Ag 4-H Club in Mercer County, Illinois where her grandparents and parents were the leaders of her club when she was growing up. When she was a member, she showed pigs and sheep at the county and state level. “4-H has had an impact on me throughout my life.
