“Our challenge at the Iowa 4-H Foundation going forward is to continue to help provide opportunities and support for all 4-H youth throughout the state of Iowa,” says Butcher. “The board of trustees is made up of highly motivated individuals who believe in moving the foundation’s mission forward.”

Butcher has served on the Iowa 4-H Foundation board of trustees for four years. Currently, he is the Executive Vice President of Community Bank in Holstein, Iowa. He has chaired the Iowa 4-H Foundation Northwest Iowa Golf tournament, held annually in Arnold Park, Iowa, for the last three years.

“We are honored to welcome Bob Butcher as our new board president,” said Albert Grunenwald, Executive Director of the Iowa 4-H Foundation. “Bob’s goal-oriented, no-nonsense, ‘let’s get things done’ approach is a great match for a board that’s ready to fund opportunities for Iowa 4-H youth.”
