Tina Greiman selected to serve on the Iowa 4-H Foundation Board of Trustees
ANKENY, Iowa- Tina Greiman was selected to serve on the Iowa 4-H Foundation Board of Trustees at their annual meeting on Friday, October 17, 2014 held at the Iowa Soybean Association in Ankeny, Iowa.
Tina Greiman works in market research at MarketSense, Inc of Perry, Iowa where she and her family currently resides. Greiman was a 4-H member in Wisconsin where her main focus was beef and showing steers and Hereford heifers at local, state and regional shows. Her three children are members of the Sugar Grove Sunshine 4-H Club in Dallas Center and she enjoys volunteering for many local 4-H activities. Greiman has a B.S. in Animal Science from Iowa State University.
“4-H teaches diverse life skills and provides so many development opportunities for kids with a variety of talents,” says Greiman. “4-H prepares kids to be productive, contributing adults and I’m proud to be a small part of the total effort.” She looks forward to the opportunity to serve as a trustee to support and give back to an organization she believes in strongly.
“We are honored to have leaders like Greiman serve on our board of trustees,” says Albert Grunenwald, Iowa 4-H Foundation Executive Director. “We have a board that is engaged and ready to ‘make the best better’ for Iowa 4-H’ers.”
Along with three other newly elected trustees, Greiman joins a 27-member board that provides the vision and fiscal oversight for the Iowa 4-H Foundation. The Iowa 4-H Foundation Board of Trustees is comprised of volunteers from both the public and private sectors. The current board is represented by: Iowa State University Extension and Outreach staff; business owners and professionals; agricultural community leaders; 4-H volunteers; and State 4-H Council representatives.
