AMES, Iowa- Kirk Enwright was welcomed to the Iowa 4-H Foundation Board of Trustees at their annual meeting on October 11, 2013 held at the Meredith Corporation headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa.
Kirk Enwright is an entrepreneur and owner of Des Moines-based businesses and commercial real estate holdings. Kirk and his wife, Amy, are owners of Goldfinch Development, LLC, a commercial LED lighting business which promotes energy efficiency and sustainability. They are also about to launch a new venture: NACTA (North American Classic Tractor Association) which will promote and grow the hobby of collecting classic tractors and its extensions. In January 2011, Kirk was appointed Honorary Colonel by Governor Terry Branstad. Kirk and Amy co-chair the Simon Estes Foundation 2013/2014 International Project to Eliminate Malaria. Kirk and Amy currently reside in Windsor Heights.

Along with six other newly elected trustees, Enwright joins a board that has pledged embark on a new capital campaign for the Iowa 4-H Foundation. The Iowa 4-H Foundation Board of Trustees is comprised of volunteers in various industries: Iowa State University Extension staff, private business and government professionals, farmers, community leaders, and State 4-H Council representatives and others.
