Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame Inductees

This year’s Hall of Fame honoree from Buena Vista County is Jane Meyer.

 

For over 30 years if you stop by the Storm Lake High school on a Tuesday night in May, June, or July you will see Jane Meyer and a whole host of 4-Hers and their dogs. 

 

What started out as a way for her to share her love of dogs with her daughter in 4-H has turned into one of the best 4-H dog obedience programs in the area.  Jane has shared her vast knowledge of dogs with dozens of 4-Hers.

She teaches that patience and practice go along way, which applies to life as well as dogs.
