Garth was a nine year 4-H member in Jones County. Garth received the State Achievement Award with a trip to Club Congress in Chicago. Locally, Garth was a leader of Marengo Cool Cougars, a member of the Iowa County 4-H Committee and Fair Board representative. Garth and the ‘Big G’ grocery store are 4-H supporters in numerous ways from sponsoring fair trophies, being a Livestock Sale supporter and helping the Iowa County 4-H and Extension with many grocery needs thoughout the year, with a helpful hand and smile. Thanks Garth for always going the extra mile to support the Iowa County 4-H program.
