When Marvin Blair became a 4-H member of the Jackson Pioneers, he did not know that 4-H would get in his blood and he would be involved for so many years to come. As a member, Marvin was active in showing livestock.
Several years later, Marvin’s kids, Cara, Lyndsy, and Derek, joined the same Jackson Pioneers 4-H Club and when the club asked for assistance in leading that group, Marvin and his wife Barb stepped up.
Since that time, Marvin has taken the opportunity to continue supporting the program by becoming a member of the Calhoun County Extension Council. He has served several terms with the needs of the kids in mind. And he has become a liaison for the Extension office and Fairboard.

Congratulations Marvin - Guess the leadership your dad taught us paid off.
