The 4-H Program has been a part of Joyce’s life for many years. When her daughters were in 4-H she was a club leader and held the position for 22 years. She served on the Cedar County Youth Committee for 20 years. Joyce is currently the County Youth Coordinator for ISU Extension in Cedar County and has been employed for 14 years. She has also served as a County Youth Council advisor for six years. For several years she has volunteered her time on the Cedar County Fair Board.
