Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame Inductees

Ron Sanson was a strong supporter of 4-H activities during his 40 years as an Iowa State University County Extension worker in Harrison, Crawford, Taylor, and Page Counties. He provided leadership and support of the youth portion at the county fairs and is now a volunteer at the Page County Fair. Ron has assisted in Superintendent roles at the 4-H Ak-Sar-Ben Livestock Show for more than 25 years and still volunteers at the 4-H Sheep Show. He initiated the Page County 4-H Endowment Fund before he retired from Iowa State University Extension in 2000 and is the treasurer of the Endowment board. Ron has made many presentations at 4-H judges training workshops in southwest Iowa and currently judges at several southwest Iowa county fairs and at the Iowa State Fair in non-livestock project areas.
