Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame Inductees

Bob Hall’s significant leadership skills and his ability to communicate and connect with 4-Hers provided youth of Delaware County with opportunities to learn about citizenship and service. He inspired 4-H members to become achievers!

Bob initiated the 4-H camping program at Camp Wapsi-Y. He saw the need and opportunity to highlight 4-H leaders at an annual 4-H Leaders Recognition Night. He started the 4-H boys basketball and the photography programs. Upon recognizing the importance of education and confidence- building, he organized the first 4-H officer training school. When he heard of the 4-H exchange program other states had developed, he brought this program to the youth of Delaware County.

Bob Hall was committed to the 4-H program in Delaware County, to club members, leaders, assistants and sponsors. His wife Virginia shared his strong commitment to the 4-H program in the county as evidenced now by their generous support of the Delaware County 4-H scholarship program.
