Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame Inductees

The Heldorfer family would be one of those 4-H families that every county wishes they could clone.  Karen & Don were willing 4-H parents, leaders, Fair Superintendents, Extension Council and Youth Committee members.  They were active in starting our school run farm safety day camp and starting the local foundation.  Karen served on the Foundation board and also help with our fifth grade speak up program done in all schools each year. They hosted two 4-H Intrastate Exchange participants from New York and hosted two IFYE Exchange students from Switzerland & Jamaica.  All five of their children were very active in 4-H.
