Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame Inductees

Ruth Remling was a club leader of the Dundee Luckies and a county Visual Arts project leader for a total of 20 years of service.  Former club members and co-leaders praised her for her organizational skills and her ability to make concepts clear and understandable. She also judged at county fairs for many years.

Allen was a member of the County Fair Board and a 4-H supportive parent who worked hard with his sons with their dairy and swine projects.

Ruth and Allen were invaluable members of the original Friends of 4-H Food Stand committee. They established a county scholarship fund for Delaware County 4-H members. In 1982, they were awarded the Meritorious Service to 4-H in Delaware County.
