Gert has been such a positive and powerful influence throughout the years to so many youth. She has dedicated her life to helping and teaching others and it shows by the many lives she has touched. We appreciate her dedication and believe she is an inspiration to all of us.
Volunteer service to Lucas County:
· first 4-H Aide for 10 years
· Nor-Luco’s 1st 4-H Club Leader
· served as local achievement show judge
· served on Lucas Co. Achievement Show Board
· helped numerous 4-H members with projects
· Master Gardener
· volunteer at Lucas County Fair-judging the open class; open class entry clerk
· supported five children and six grandchildren in 4-H
· encouraged 2 of her own children to serve as 4-H leaders
