Jack Steiert has been an active volunteer supporting the Mitchell County Extension 4-H program for more than 45 years. Jack has a concern for youth and gives his time and talents to help 4-H’ers grow.
Jack started his volunteer service over 40 years ago as a beef project leader. He also served as 4-H club leader for several years and is currently the Dog project leader. He holds summer workshops for dog exhibitors and manages the 4-H Dog show at the county Fair. He also donates his time as an auctioneer at the Ribbon Auction each year.

I grew up with Jack Steiert, indeed a dedicated family man and 4-H advocate. A more worthy candidate for the Iowa Hall of Fame, you will never find. God bless my Iowa, Jack Steiert & family, and all 4-H ers everywhere.
