Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame Inductees

As a County Extension Director for 34 years, Melvin Powers contributed many hours to the 4-H program through training, involvement with 4-H Leaders, and county Fair activities.  He worked successfully at the reorganization of the Pocahontas county Fair to provide county wide board representation.  Even today, this board organization has contributed to the success and strength of the 4-H program in Pocahontas County.
