Robert Stock is a familiar face at the Allamakee County Fair. In 2003, he received recognition for serving more than 50 years on the Allamakee County Fairboard and for taking care of the fairgrounds and property.
Robert works behind the scenes to keep events running. Robert is always ready to help set up livestock pens and open buildings. He is often in the Extension office on June 16, the day after entry day, to find out how many animals are coming to the fair and how much room will be needed. He patrols the grounds daily to make sure everything is in order and is always willing to help the fair exhibitors set-up gates and alleys. Robert is a valued member of both the Fairboard and the county 4-H program. We appreciate his dedication to the fair to offer a safe and enjoyable learning experience for Allamakee County youth and their families.
