Alma Hillier was a 4H leader and served on the Youth Committee for 10 years. For several years, there was no 4H building for County Fair. Alma was in charge of the preparing the food in the basement of the Nursery. For years after land was purchased for the Fairgrounds, Alma continued to help with the 4H food stand. Trips to Convention, State Fair and Chicago were chaperoned by Alma. She served as a judge for the local Achievement Show for many years.
