2004 Jackson County - Nadine Wosoba

2004 Jackson County - Nadine WosobaNadine Wosoba started her involvement in 4-H when she was a young girl in Jackson County, near Monmouth, Iowa.  She later became a 4-H Leader of the girl’s club, Monmouth Merry Maids, when her daughter became involved.  Her husband, Lumir also became a 4-H Leader when their two sons entered 4-H.

Through her years as a leader, Nadine served on the 4-H Youth Committee and attended the State Conference with her daughter.  The family’s involvement in 4-H has been carried through the years by generations.  All of Nadine’s grandchildren have been active in 4-H and her great-grandchildren.  Three of her grandchildren are still active in 4-H as adults, such as being on the Jackson County Cattlemen Association, a leader of the Baldwin Clover Kids, and a granddaughter who is currently the Jackson County 4-H Youth Coordinator.   Nadine still helps out 4-H’ers any way she can and still attends the events at the county fair every year.
