Ernie Topping has been as strong supporter of the Iowa and Van Buren County 4-H programs for more than 18 years. She is a mother of 3 children, Ben, Kim and Bethany. Bethany is a current member of the Van Buren County 4-H program and Ben and Kim have graduated from the county 4-H program. Kim was one of our top Outstanding 4-H Members in 1998.
Ernie is currently the club leader of the Birmingham Busy Bees 4-H Club. The club is very active in community service and one of the past projects was the Adopt A Highway clean up project for many years.
Ernie encourages all club 4-H members to enroll in diverse projects. She stresses the life skill development and the leadership experiences available in the Iowa 4-H program.
