Susie was a 4-H leader for 33 years for the Center Willing Workers 4-H Club. She was on the Youth Committee for 18 years and was the office assistant for 22 years for ISU Extension in Calhoun County. Susie also worked as an office assistant for the Calhoun County Exposition during fair for over 20 years.
Every 4-H’er knew Susie and she knew each 4-H member by name. They all called her “mom” at the fairgrounds and they knew if they needed an answer, Susie could give it to them. Susie was for the kids!
