Catherine was a member of the Sunbeam 4-H club from 1927 through 1932. She organized the Eekamalla 4-H club in 1954, where she was a leader for 34 years. Catherine also volunteered her time by serving on the Allamakee County Extension Council for 4 years.
Catherine has always been a very willing volunteer and 4-H is very dear to her heart. She still takes time to help 4-H’ers with their talks and demonstrations. Catherine has received many awards throughout her 70 years in the 4-H program.
