2015 Hancock County- Glen and Terry Greiman

Glen and Terri Greiman have a history rich with 4-H involvement.  Glen grew up as a 4-Her and made sure his kids were involved as soon as they were old enough.  Glen and Terri have given countless hours to Hancock County 4-H and the county fair.

Glen served on the County Extension Council for eight years in the 90’s as well as serving as a 4-H club leader for the Liberty Go-Getters 4-H Club, and sheep superintendent for the Hancock County Fair.  Terri has served on the Extension Council selection committee and hostess of the 4-H exhibit building multiple times over the years.  Terri tirelessly managed the 4-H foodstand at the county fair for six years with assistance from Glen.

When asked about how her parents involvement with 4-H has impacted her, Heidi Greiman Konz says, “4-H was a part of my dad's childhood and he passed that down to each one of us kids by helping with our projects, being our 4-H leader, and helping at fair with many duties.  My mother also helped each of us with our record books, packing the essentials for each show we traveled to for livestock shows, and later on by running the food stand.  I am so blessed to have parents who understood the importance of 4-H and the fair and now I am able to pass this on to my boys who are starting 4-H and their projects!”

Hancock County Extension & Outreach would like to thank Glen & Terri Greiman for the years of service they have given to the 4-H program in Hancock County.
