Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame Inductees

Patty Phillips contributed a great number of hours to the Chickasaw County 4-H program through her 8 years of 4-H involvement and 6 years of service on the Youth Development Committee.

In 2007, Patty was integral in developing the County Fair food stand; coordinating food, scheduling workers, grilling hamburgers and brats, keeping the kitchen tidy and ensuring the food stand was a successful fundraiser for the Chickasaw County 4-H program.  Patty also served as a record book judge and helped interview senior 4-H’ers for yearly project awards.

Patty grew up in Northeast Iowa and enjoys quilting,, photography, and traveling with her husband Lloyd. Their son, Mitchell, was also a Chickasaw County 4-H member who actively participated at the county fair and enjoyed participating in the beef project.
