Jim & Judy Nelson have been advocates and leaders of the Levis N Lace 4-H Club in Polk County for over a decade.
Judy has been involved with the 4-H Program Advisory Board for several years. She has helped out with the food sale and the Bar-B-Que at the Polk county fair and has assisted with the livestock auction for many years. Judy has a big heart and is very willing to donate any extra time she has to Polk County 4-H.
Jim is currently a member of the Polk County Fairboard Association, and is the beef superintendent for 4-H. He has given countless hours to the youth of Polk County by helping with the county fair barn set-up and various livestock shows.
Both Jim and Judy have supported the Iowa 4-H Foundation Gala. They have 2 children that have been Polk County 4-Hers. Jim and Judy reside outside of Mitchellville.
