Joyce started her 4-H career in Linn County and was a proud member of the Marion Peppy Pals and Hillsdale Hoosiers 4-H Clubs. When her daughter was young, she realized there were no “girls” clubs in her area. She formed and organized the Ramblin Rosies. She led the Ramblin Rosies until they combined with the Ramblin Recks to become one club.
Joyce enjoyed her time volunteering throughout the county in multiple capacities. Her volunteer services included Youth Committee, project leader for Montgomery Hall, educational presentation and achievement show judging for local groups and counties.
Johnson County is lucky to have both Richard and Joyce as a part of our 4-H program. Without their continued support Johnson County 4-H would not be where it is today.
