2018 Monona County: Laura Neldeberg

Laura Neldeberg and husband, Kurt, live on a farm near Whiting, Iowa.  They were blessed with three children; Andrew, Christian, and Annika, all grown up now, who were all active 4-H members.

Laura graduated from Nettleton Business College as an Associate Legal Secretary.  She is active in her church helping with after school youth programs and subs as organist.

In the fall she helps on the farm and helps with their seed company.  Laura has been and still is on many committees for extension.

Laura was a 4-H Clover Kids leader in Whiting from 2001 to 2014 touching the lives of over 100 children. She received the Leader of the Year award in 2014.   She was on the 4-H Youth Committee for a few years and has been on the 4-H Endowment Board since 2001 and continues to serve on that board.

Laura has been a member of the Monona County Extension Council since 2000, still serving and has been the treasurer for many years.

Laura is a great supporter of Monona County 4-H and we thank her for her years of service.
