A fund-raiser and awards ceremony to honor outstanding contributors to the Iowa 4-H Program. Four awards will be given over the course of the evening. Attendees will also have the opportunity to make a contribution during the Dessert Auction. Attendees may choose to support one of the four program priority areas: STEM, Healthy Living, Citizenship & Leadership and Communication & the Arts.

Last year, the event raised over $110,000 and supports the Iowa 4-H Foundation. Individual gifts were also made to directly support the four 4-H Program priority areas: STEM, Healthy Living, Citizenship & Leadership and Communication & the Arts. Nearly $10,000 was raised for these priorities alone.

The Iowa 4-H Foundation provides direct funding to the Iowa 4-H Program which engages over 100,000 young people across the state of Iowa in grades K-12. 4-H youth programs provide opportunities for youth to develop skills they can use now and throughout their life. Iowa 4-H builds upon a century of experience as it fosters positive youth development that is based on the needs and strengths of youth, their families, and communities.

Iowa 4-H’ers are leaders in their communities both today and in the future. 4-H improves the quality of life in communities across the state both urban and rural providing opportunities, supplementing education and promoting learning as a lifelong skill.
