Father and son, Ed & Sid Shanks were both lifelong residents of the Lucas County. They were always big supporters of Lucas County 4-H program.
Whether it was actually being in 4-H themselves, parenting their own kids in 4-H, serving on the youth committees, sleeping at the fairgrounds all night...
