Construction Begins on New Pool at Clover Woods Camp & Retreat Center

AMES, Iowa- A major contribution from Dean and Adele Bowden of Webster City has kicked off construction of a new outdoor pool at Clover Woods Camp and Retreat Center, near Madrid, IA.

The Successful Farming/Loren Kruse Outstanding Iowa 4-H Leader award is presented each year to an adult volunteer who has encouraged, challenged, and inspired Iowa 4-H members to achieve at their fullest potential. This year’s recipient is Neil Lansing of West Union in Fayette County. Lansing is the current leader of the Eldorado Eagles 4-H Club.
Combined contributions of 324 4-H clubs from 70 counties across the state help the Iowa 4-H State Council surpass 4-H'ers for 4-H campaign goal.
