Alumni Spotlights

The Iowa 4-H Foundation wants to share what Iowa 4-H alums are doing across our state!
We'd love for you to tell us your story.

Eric grew up on a farm between Roland and Story City and has lived in Iowa nearly all of his life. He joined the KCCI team in 2000 and was named morning anchor in August 2014. His writing has been honored with three national Edward R. Murrow awards, two national Society for Professional Journalists awards, five Emmys and dozens of regional and statewide honors. His Story

From State Fair Queen to baby food producer, Julie (Wolterman) Burroughs has used the skills gained from her 4-H experience to propel herself to success. She was a member of the Garfield All-Stars 4-H Club for nine years in Ida County and is now the owner of a local, all natural baby and toddler food company called Farm Baby Foods. Her Story
Marji Guyler is the creator and owner of FarmHer, a business focusing on women in Agriculture. “Though I did not realize it at the time, 4-H had a big impact on my life!
