Jeff Murphy is retired as Senior Vice President of the Commercial Division at Kemin Industries. He received a master’s in Animal Nutrition from Iowa State University and his hobbies include college wrestling, fishing, and raising a small herd of Simmental cattle. He also serves as an Affiliate Member of the Iowa Foundation for Agricultural Advancement. He and his wife, Carin, live in Ankeny, Iowa and have one adult daughter. In his words “4-H has always been a huge part of my family. I was a third generation 4-Her and my daughter carried on the tradition for a fourth generation. I am certain that I would not have been as successful as I have been in life without the lessons taught by 4-H.”
