Don Timmins is retired as a certified public accountant for Welgaard & Associates, formerly Timmins, Jacobsen & Strawhacker, LLP in Des Moines, Iowa. Don is a graduate of the American Institute of Business has a degree in salesmanship, accounting, and business management. He was a Jasper County 4-H member and has served as a club leader and pork superintendent in Polk County with his wife, Cheryl, for more than 35 years. Don supports 4-H because, “of the opportunities it provides youth to learn and grow.” And he believes, “Projects provide wonderful experience in learning responsibilities and opening new horizons.”
