Do your gifts to the Iowa 4-H Foundation have an impact on 4-H’ers?
Just read what Liz Ogren, a former Cherokee County 4-H member, said in a thank you speech to donors:

If not for 4-H…we would not have been given the opportunity to design and model our own clothing.

If not for 4-H…we would not have learned the art of refurnishing our family’s antiques.

If not for 4-H…we would not have been taught the responsibility of raising livestock.

If not for 4-H…we would not have had the chance to make lifelong 4-H friendships all throughout our state.

If not for 4-H…we would not have been given the opportunity to visit Washington D.C. with some of these outstanding Iowa 4-H teens who are now some of my closest friends.

If not for 4-H…we would not have had the challenge of personal development and, in the end, choosing our future.

If not for 4-H…I could not imagine myself giving a speech before you tonight.

Life skills. 4-H. These are one and the same.
4-H Foundation. Investing in the future. These are one and the same.
