The Iowa 4-H Center is an ideal year-round getaway for individuals and groups. A thousand acres of wooded bluffs and native prairies in the heart of Iowa’s spectacular Des Moines River country, the 4-H Center offers visitors a wide variety of outdoor classroom activities, recreational facilities, and lodging accommodations. The Linden Dining Hall can seat 250 people, and the panoramic view is ideal for wedding receptions and business retreats.

Many camping opportunities are available for youth during the summer. The Iowa 4-H Foundation also provides financial assistance for eligible families.

Looking for high adventure? The 4-H Center boasts the tallest climbing tower in central Iowa. Standing 50 feet tall, the tower is just one element in the center’s high ropes adventure course that is ideal for corporate and group team building exercises.
