The Iowa 4-H Foundation raises $1 million annually
to finance 4-H programs that reach one in four Iowa students
in grades K-12.
In 2005, the Iowa 4-H Foundation:
Completed a $450,000 President's
Campaign including a matching gift from Pioneer Hi-Bred
International for $150,000. This campaign provided financial
support for:
Granted $30,000 to Iowa
Extension areas and counties for developing innovative programs
that reach new youth audiences and to 4-H clubs for implementing
community improvement projects.

Awarded $105,854 in college
scholarships. High school students pursuing a two or four-year
college degree may qualify for one of 97 scholarships offered
through the Iowa 4-H Foundation.

Gave out more than $14,000
in financial assistance for group transportation to 4-H camp
and for individuals to attend 4-H camp or the State 4-H
Youth Conference.
